Dear Friends of Birthright,
We are still here to serve women in crisis pregnancy situations. It is more and more trying, as finances shrink and abortion is touted as the "way out" of a crisis. So many young people are being led down the wrong path by today's political influences and the money the abortion industry is able to solicit. And, it is an industry! Millions and millions and millions of dollars are given to the abortion providers to end the lives of the tiny unborn.
For almost 41 years Milwaukee Birthright has been in place 24 hours each day, 365 days each year, listening to the pleas for help from young women who find themselves with unplanned pregnancies. How do we help them? We offer friendship and listening... to learn what they need to stay healthy and keep their babies safe and healthy, too. We have literally hundreds of resources that we can tap into to help the women both now and in their futures. Help is but a phone call, or two or three or four or more, away. When calls are made we can lead the woman to a brighter future for her child and herself.
Birthright cannot continue without your help. We need dollars and volunteers. Age and personal problems have taken away our volunteer base and we must replace them to fulfill our mission of 24/7 help.
Can you make a monthly contribution of $25.00 or more? Can you give a few hours on the phone a week or twice a month? Give us a call and we'll show you how easy and painless it is to get involved. Help us to help the young mothers save their babies!
Save the date: our Annual Dinner and Auction will take place at the Clarion Hotel and
Conference
Center, Friday, November 19. Our speaker will be Rev. Msgr. James Farmer, noted pro-life speaker and lawyer from Baltimore MD, whose remarks will surely inspire. In Baltimore he is pastor of St. Ursula Church and Chaplain of Respect Life Committee, Thomas More Society and Mens Catholic Fellowship. Gary Nosacek, deacon candidate, Archdiocese of Milwaukee, will provide dinner invocation. Invitations will be mailed in early October, tell your friends, book a table. We look forward to seeing you!
Most sincerely,
Veronica Ceszynski, Birthright Volunteers and Board of Directors
